Are you passionate about leveraging data to drive smarter business decisions? Our client is seeking a results-driven Lead Product Manager to spearhead the development of impactful data platforms and software tools. In this role, you’ll collaborate closely with stakeholders from finance, operations, and engineering to build systems that deliver fast, accurate insights and empower informed business choices.
Key Responsibilities:

Lead cross-functional software initiatives focused on enhancing financial, portfolio, and commercial operations

Manage the design and continuous improvement of a centralized internal data platform for forecasting, cost tracking, and strategic reporting

Partner with engineering and DevOps teams to ensure smooth data integration from billing, load, pricing, and contract systems

Collaborate with finance teams to provide real-time visibility into company performance, enabling better decision-making

Improve workflows for external market data, third-party reconciliations, and regulatory reporting
Required Experience & Skills:

5+ years in product management or technical project leadership, with a track record of growing responsibilities

Proven expertise managing Agile product lifecycles from discovery through launch

Ability to translate complex processes into clear, actionable technical requirements

Knowledge of energy markets, especially wholesale trading and ETRM systems

Experience working with large-scale data pipelines supporting pricing, forecasting, and supply planning models

Proficient in iterative delivery, backlog prioritization, and cross-team collaboration

Strong analytical mindset with data-driven decision-making skills

Comfortable in fast-paced, high-growth or startup environments

Familiarity with tools like Jira, Figma, and Lucidchart for planning and product development
Preferred Qualifications:

Experience with Python or SQL for data analysis or prototyping

Understanding of accrual accounting and its impact on financial systems

Bachelor’s degree in business, computer science, engineering, or related discipline
