Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) – Overnight Shift
Join our client’s healthcare team in the Bronx as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA), providing essential overnight care in a fast-paced clinical setting. This role is ideal for experienced CNAs who are passionate about delivering high-quality, compassionate care during nighttime hours. You’ll work collaboratively with nursing staff to ensure patients receive continuous support, comfort, and safety throughout the night.
Key Responsibilities

Direct Patient Care: Assist patients with personal hygiene activities such as bathing, grooming, and toileting, especially those with limited mobility.

Meal & Medication Support: Help patients with eating and monitor their adherence to prescribed medication regimens.

Room Readiness: Prepare and maintain patient rooms with necessary medical supplies and personal comfort items.

Mobility Assistance: Safely transfer patients between beds, wheelchairs, and other equipment; support walking exercises and mobility routines.

Vital Sign Monitoring: Observe and record vital signs and changes in patient behavior; promptly report any concerns to nursing or medical staff.

Comfort & Preventive Care: Reposition patients regularly to prevent pressure ulcers and maintain physical comfort during the night.
Qualifications

Education: High school diploma or GED required.

Licensure: Active Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) license in the State of New York.

Certification: Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.

Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience as a CNA in a clinical or long-term care environment.

Key Skills: Compassionate, detail-oriented, and reliable; strong communication and teamwork abilities; comfortable working in high-demand, overnight settings.

Availability: Must be available to work overnight shifts, including weekends and holidays as needed.
