Job Summary
Homeland, partnering with a well-regarded community hospital, is seeking a dedicated Clinical Staff Pharmacist to join their team. We’re looking for a motivated, patient-focused professional who thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative clinical environment.
In this role, you will play a key part in optimizing medication therapy through computerized systems and evidence-based practices. You’ll collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams—including nurses, physicians, and allied health professionals—to ensure the safe, effective, and cost-efficient use of medications. The Clinical Staff Pharmacist will also provide patient education, clinical consultations, and help maintain regulatory compliance and operational excellence to support smooth care delivery.

Responsibilities

Deliver pharmacy services and provide clinical leadership aligned with the hospital’s mission, values, and quality standards

Review, verify, and process medication orders following established protocols and computerized systems

Provide expert consultation and education to patients and clinical staff on appropriate medication use

Perform clinical duties that support pharmacy programs and comply with regulatory and accreditation requirements

Participate in Continuous Quality Improvement (CQI) activities, including data collection and process analysis

Support and mentor pharmacy technicians and clerical staff to enhance workflow and ensure compliance

Assume leadership responsibilities in the absence of the Lead Clinical Pharmacist or Pharmacy Director

Assist with interviewing, training, and onboarding new pharmacy staff

Deliver age-appropriate pharmaceutical care across diverse patient populations

Stay updated on clinical knowledge through continuing education, professional associations, and relevant training
Requirements

Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy or Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree required

Current or eligible for Washington State Pharmacist License

Minimum of two (2) years recent hospital pharmacy experience preferred; new graduates considered

PGY1 or PGY2 residency training strongly encouraged

Demonstrated ability to provide age-appropriate care for varied patient populations

Familiarity with Microsoft Office preferred

Bilingual in English and Spanish is a plus

Strong verbal and written communication skills essential

Benefits
This role offers a competitive salary with bonus potential, a sign-on bonus ranging from $10,000 to $20,000 depending on experience, and up to $10,000 in relocation assistance if needed.
