Description
We are seeking an experienced Business Analyst to join our team in Woodland Hills, California, for a long-term contract role. This position plays a vital part in connecting business needs with technical solutions. It’s perfect for a proactive individual with a solid technical background who thrives in fast-paced, ever-changing environments.
Responsibilities

Work closely with stakeholders to collect and refine business requirements, ensuring alignment with project goals.

Prioritize tasks and provide the team with clear, actionable assignments.

Collaborate with developers and architects to address technical requirements, including managing technical debt documentation.

Use tools like Jira and Confluence to oversee workflows and maintain project transparency.

Perform gap analyses to identify opportunities for improvement in business processes and technology.

Partner with engineering teams to support Agile practices and facilitate smooth software development lifecycle (SDLC) execution.

Create and update detailed documentation such as business requirement documents (BRDs) and process flow diagrams.

Bridge communication between technical and non-technical teams to ensure shared understanding and project success.

Assist with testing activities including A/B testing and quality assurance to validate system performance.
Requirements

Minimum 5 years’ experience as a Business Analyst, ideally in software or application environments.

Proficient in Atlassian tools including Jira and Confluence.

Strong knowledge of Agile methodologies and SDLC.

Experienced in conducting gap analyses and preparing BRDs.

Skilled in Microsoft Excel and Word for documentation and reporting.

Effective communicator with both technical and non-technical audiences.

Self-motivated and adaptable to dynamic, sometimes unpredictable settings.

Background in eCommerce is a plus but not required.
