Role Overview
As an Associate Delegate Relations Manager, your primary responsibility is to sell delegate places—via phone—to a range of global events and training courses. These include both in-person and digital offerings across various industries such as Finance, Life Sciences, Maritime, Energy, and more.
This fast-paced sales role is ideal for proactive, customer-focused professionals who can effectively build relationships, identify cross-sell opportunities, and drive long-term value for clients and the business alike.
Key Responsibilities

Make 100+ outbound calls per day to clients and prospects

Sell delegate places to large-scale conferences, niche events, and online training programmes

Understand client needs to recommend relevant events and services

Identify and act on cross-selling opportunities across our entire event portfolio

Ensure all sales activity aligns with business strategy and revenue goals

Track and report on campaign and event performance to internal teams

Benchmark against competitors to identify new lead generation tactics

Maintain accurate, up-to-date customer and sales data

Collaborate with Sales, Production, and Marketing to streamline the sales cycle

Support revenue collection post-sale
Qualifications & Skills

Experience in B2B sales or delegate sales (telephone-based preferred)

Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Highly organised, target-driven, and self-motivated

Strong ability to manage and prioritise tasks in a fast-paced environment

Proven ability to build rapport and maintain strong client relationships

A proactive and resourceful mindset with an eye for opportunity
Working Hours
This role includes flexibility to work international hours to support clients in different regions:

UK: 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
-
US: 12:00 PM – 8:00 PM (East Coast) / 2:00 PM – 10:00 PM (West Coast)

APAC: 4:00 AM – 12:00 PM
