Summary:
This hybrid role blends backend systems work with day-to-day user support. This is an in-office position and reports directly to the Digital Operations Manager. The IT Systems Support Administrator manages Microsoft 365 services, maintains network infrastructure, and supports automation efforts, while also serving as a key point of contact for staff IT needs and digital tools.
This position will split time between infrastructure responsibilities, including M365 Admin Center, Intune, Exchange Online, endpoint security, network hardware, and workflow automation and user-facing support. That includes resolving help tickets, setting up hardware when the Digital Operations Manager is unavailable, writing documentation, providing occasional training, and contributing to long-term infrastructure planning alongside the Digital Operations Manager and Chief Marketing & Technology Officer.
The ideal candidate understands that IT problems don’t always wait for business hours and is willing to step in when something critical comes up, even outside the usual 9 to 5.
Responsibilities:
· Administer Microsoft 365 services (Intune, Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint)
· Maintain and troubleshoot network infrastructure (switches, firewalls, DHCP, wireless)
· Monitor and manage endpoints, apply updates, and enforce security policies
· Support the Digital Operations Manager with tools, integrations, and digital workflows
· Respond to helpdesk requests and provide hands-on user support
· Write and maintain clear internal documentation and training resources
· Assist with A/V setup and on-site tech needs for meetings or events
· Be available for critical support issues that may arise outside standard hours
· Other duties as assigned
Requirements
· Proven 2-5 years of experience in a similar role
· High school diploma or equivalent is required
· Strong experience with Microsoft 365, particularly Intune and Exchange
· Solid understanding of networking and endpoint management fundamentals
· Enthusiasm for technology and curiosity about new tools and platforms
· Clear communicator with a calm, professional, and approachable support style
· Reliable, adaptable, and able to manage shifting priorities with minimal oversight
· Strong understanding of IT security best practices and how to apply them across systems and infrastructure
· Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
· Ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds.
· Ability to stand, walk, and sit for extended periods.

IT Systems Support Administrator: Job Overview
We’re looking for an IT Systems Support Administrator to join our team in a hybrid role that balances backend system administration with essential day-to-day user support. This is an in-office position reporting directly to the Digital Operations Manager.
