Lab Systems Administrator: LIMA/MODA Lab
We’re looking for a Lab Systems Administrator to join our team, focusing on the LIMA/MODA Lab at our Massachusetts Biologics Operations (MBO) site. In this role, you’ll be responsible for the administration and maintenance of our laboratory systems, including LabWare LIMS and MODA. You’ll report directly to the Associate Director of Digital and Lab Systems Quality Assurance.
How You’ll Contribute:
Your primary responsibilities will include:
- Maintaining and updating workflows within the lab systems.
- Assisting with system and instrument integrations, which involves making configuration changes and coordinating with our Global DD&T function.
- Performing master data updates to support routine business changes and improvements.
- Providing support for and resolving master data issues, along with other routine administrative tasks.
- Creating and maintaining method verification scripts and system documentation for new functionalities and routine updates.
- Offering first-tier application support for routine issues, including answering end-user questions and helping resolve usage problems.
- Supporting validation activities for ongoing projects as needed.
- Configuring interfaces to connect instruments with the lab systems.
Minimum Requirements/Qualifications:
To be successful in this role, you’ll need:
- A Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Business, Chemistry, Biology, or a related discipline, or equivalent practical experience.
- At least 3 years of relevant experience.
- Extensive configuration and/or development experience with LabWare LIMS or MODA.
