The Role: People Administrator
We’re seeking a detail-oriented People Administrator to join our People Team and support the full employee lifecycle—from onboarding to offboarding. You’ll work closely with the People Operations Manager, using our HR system HiBob to ensure our HR processes are smooth, compliant, and people-focused.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with HR admin experience who wants to develop in a fun, fast-paced, and values-driven organisation.
Key Responsibilities
-
Manage daily activities in HiBob, providing system support to employees and managers (holidays, sick leave, policy guidance).
-
Monitor and respond to the shared People Services mailbox; escalate complex queries as needed.
-
Prepare and deliver accurate monthly payroll reports (starters, leavers, sickness, contract changes) in coordination with Finance.
-
Handle onboarding, offboarding, and employee lifecycle processes—including background checks via third-party partners.
-
Administer employee benefits (Private Medical Insurance, Life Cover, Gym Memberships).
-
Provide first-line support and guidance on HR policies (holiday, sickness, general procedures).
-
Organise and host Jellycat Induction events (1st and 3rd Thursdays of the month).
-
Coordinate and analyse exit interviews.
-
Contribute to ongoing HR policy reviews and process improvements.
-
Support the wider HR team with ad hoc admin and project work.
What You’ll Bring
-
1+ years’ experience in HR administration or a generalist HR support role.
-
Exceptional attention to detail and a proactive approach.
-
Solid understanding of HR processes and employment law fundamentals.
-
Strong organisational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks.
-
A collaborative, team-first attitude with a passion for problem-solving.
-
Clear and confident communication skills.
-
Comfortable building relationships and earning trust at all levels of the organisation.
-
Experience with HiBob (a plus, not essential).
-
A ‘customer-first’ mindset with genuine care for people.
