About the Role

We’re on the hunt for a highly experienced Business Development Manager to manage and expand our dealer network across Wales. This role is ideal for a motivated self-starter with a background in motor finance or the motor trade, and a proven track record of sales success and relationship building.

You’ll be responsible for:

  • Developing and maintaining strong partnerships with car dealerships

  • Securing new business relationships across Wales

  • Promoting Finset as the finance provider of choice

  • Managing a portfolio that spans everything from daily-use vehicles to luxury and recreational models

  • Supporting dealerships in submitting and completing finance applications

  • Acting as the face of Finset while bringing new ideas and energy to help shape the business

This is a field-based role, with 4 days per week spent visiting dealerships and 1 day working remotely. You’ll also travel quarterly to our Chelmsford HQ for team collaboration and strategy updates.

Who You Are

You’ll need:

  • 2+ years’ experience in Sales (motor finance/account management preferred)

  • Strong background in the Motor Trade

  • Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills

  • Excellent time management and a proactive approach to problem-solving

  • A full UK driving licence and willingness to travel across Wales
