Job Summary:
Hartpury University and Hartpury College are seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Outreach and Student Recruitment Manager to lead the development and delivery of our student recruitment and widening participation initiatives across Further Education, Undergraduate, and Postgraduate programmes.
This is a unique opportunity to join one of the UK’s leading specialist institutions, supporting student recruitment and delivering impactful outreach programmes — especially for underrepresented groups in education.
Key Responsibilities:

Lead, manage and deliver an annual calendar of outreach and recruitment activities for Hartpury College and Hartpury University

Drive student recruitment through partnerships with schools, colleges, and relevant industry contacts across the UK

Lead on Widening Participation strategies, ensuring meaningful engagement with underrepresented groups

Line manage and inspire two Outreach Officers (Student Recruitment and Widening Participation)

Deliver engaging presentations, workshops, and events for prospective students and their families

Analyse and report on outreach effectiveness using strong data skills and insight

Collaborate across departments to support strategic enrolment targets

Represent Hartpury at events, open days, and external engagement opportunities

Manage multiple projects and deadlines efficiently, including some evening and weekend commitments
About You:

Proven experience in outreach, school liaison, or student recruitment

A strong passion for education, equity, and student engagement

Exceptional communication, organisation, and event management skills

Confident delivering presentations and working with diverse audiences

Strong analytical skills and experience with data reporting tools

Able to effectively manage a small team and multiple priorities
