We are seeking a motivated IT Data Analyst Apprentice to support our IT department while working towards a recognised qualification over a 12-month programme.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the Group IT Team in building and updating reports

  • Extract, acquire, and manage data from various internal and external sources

  • Clean and analyse datasets to identify trends and actionable insights

  • Create and maintain dashboards using tools such as Power BI and SQL

  • Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and compliance with governance policies

  • Collaborate with stakeholders, clients, and retail partners on data improvement initiatives

  • Monitor site ticketing systems and assist with issue resolution

  • Track project progress and update documentation weekly

Apprenticeship Programme Includes

  • Data fundamentals and database management

  • Data analysis, interpretation, and visualisation techniques

  • Training in Power BI, SQL, and other reporting tools

  • Principles of data governance and quality

  • Diagnostic, communication, and problem-solving skills

Candidate Requirements

Essential:

  • 5 GCSEs at grades 9–4 (A–C), including English and Mathematics

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills

  • Analytical mindset with attention to detail

  • Problem-solving and time-management abilities

  • Willingness to learn and grow within a dynamic IT environment

  • Ability to commute or relocate to B98 9DB

Desirable:

  • 3 A-Levels (A*–C), ideally in numerical or computing subjects

  • Knowledge of reporting tools (e.g., SSRS, Power BI, Business Objects)

  • Familiarity with SQL or database systems

  • Confident, enthusiastic, and team-oriented

Schedule:

  • Monday to Friday

  • Some weekend availability may be required
