We are seeking a motivated IT Data Analyst Apprentice to support our IT department while working towards a recognised qualification over a 12-month programme.

Key Responsibilities

Support the Group IT Team in building and updating reports

Extract, acquire, and manage data from various internal and external sources

Clean and analyse datasets to identify trends and actionable insights

Create and maintain dashboards using tools such as Power BI and SQL
-
Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and compliance with governance policies

Collaborate with stakeholders, clients, and retail partners on data improvement initiatives

Monitor site ticketing systems and assist with issue resolution
-
Track project progress and update documentation weekly
Apprenticeship Programme Includes

Data fundamentals and database management
-
Data analysis, interpretation, and visualisation techniques

Training in Power BI, SQL, and other reporting tools

Principles of data governance and quality

Diagnostic, communication, and problem-solving skills
Candidate Requirements
Essential:
-
5 GCSEs at grades 9–4 (A–C), including English and Mathematics

Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)

Strong written and verbal communication skills

Analytical mindset with attention to detail

Problem-solving and time-management abilities
-
Willingness to learn and grow within a dynamic IT environment

Ability to commute or relocate to B98 9DB
Desirable:

3 A-Levels (A*–C), ideally in numerical or computing subjects

Knowledge of reporting tools (e.g., SSRS, Power BI, Business Objects)

Familiarity with SQL or database systems

Confident, enthusiastic, and team-oriented
