Human Resources Manager/HR Business Partner, Engineering

We’re looking for a highly skilled HR professional to join our team as a Human Resources Manager/HR Business Partner. In this hybrid role (minimum three days in-office), you’ll provide comprehensive HR support and strategic guidance to our Engineering clients. You’ll work closely with leaders to align HR initiatives with business goals, implement effective talent acquisition strategies, drive employee engagement and development, and ensure compliance with employment laws and regulations.

Primary Responsibilities

As an HR Manager/HR Business Partner, you’ll be a trusted advisor and strategic partner, responsible for:

  • Building and maintaining strong relationships with both business leaders and employees, fostering a positive employee experience.
  • Leading resolutions on employee relations, investigations, and accommodation matters by leveraging your HR expertise and best practices.
  • Collaborating with key stakeholders to execute HR strategies that support business objectives and cultivate a high-performance culture.
  • Partnering with talent acquisition to develop and implement effective strategies for open positions.
  • Working with managers to identify skills gaps and create training and development opportunities to enhance employee capabilities.
  • Providing coaching and guidance to managers on performance management and conflict resolution.
  • Driving projects and HR-related initiatives that benefit the business.
  • Leading employee engagement initiatives to promote a positive work environment, boost morale, and increase productivity.
  • Ensuring compliance with employment laws and regulations, while staying up-to-date on HR best practices.
  • Analyzing HR metrics and providing regular reports to business leaders, identifying trends and recommending improvement strategies.

Qualifications

We’re seeking a motivated self-starter with a solid HR background.

Basic Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field; or equivalent relevant professional experience.
  • 5 years of relevant professional level HR experience.
  • Solid knowledge of HR best practices, employment laws, and regulations.
  • Proven ability to execute HR strategies aligned with business goals.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships across all levels.
  • Ability to navigate complex employee relations matters.
  • Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to leverage data for decision-making.
  • Proven self-starter, motivated, and capable of working with minimal guidance, effectively finding the right resources to ensure progress.

Desired Characteristics:

  • Previous business partner experience with a dedicated client group is a plus.

Compensation & Benefits

This position offers a salary range of $95,000 – $110,000 and is bonus eligible.
