Position Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Capital Project Manager to oversee and manage capital improvement and construction projects across multiple campus locations. This position plays a critical role in advancing the physical development and infrastructure of the college by guiding capital projects from initial concept and planning through design, construction, and final implementation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the entire life cycle of capital projects using a structured project management approach, including all phases: initiation, planning, execution, monitoring and control, and project closeout.

  • Develop and define the scope of work, project deliverables, timelines, and key performance metrics.

  • Serve as the primary point of contact and project lead for functional and cross-functional capital projects, including standalone initiatives such as construction or renovation efforts.

  • Lead the development of comprehensive action plans that outline project goals, strategies, timelines, and resource allocations.

  • Estimate and secure all necessary resources—including labor, materials, time, and budget—required to ensure successful project delivery.

  • Coordinate and facilitate effective communication and collaboration among architects, engineers, designers, contractors, subcontractors, and internal stakeholders across the college community.

  • Oversee contractor and vendor selection, contract negotiation, and relationship management to ensure quality, cost-effectiveness, and timely completion of all work.
