Opportunity Overview
Join our growing IT team as an IT Support Apprentice and kick-start your career in the tech industry. You’ll gain hands-on experience providing support to students and staff across campuses, while receiving industry-recognised training through a Level 3 Information Communications Technician apprenticeship.
Key Responsibilities

Raise, manage, and resolve IT support tickets via our Service Management system

Offer 1:1 support to staff and students for hardware, software, and work submission

Assist in moving, configuring, and maintaining IT and AV equipment

Set up laptops and PCs with operating systems, drivers, and essential software

Troubleshoot and resolve routine technical issues or escalate as needed

Support users with password resets and account issues

Maintain accurate logs for loaned equipment, repairs, and system maintenance

Deliver basic IT training and guidance to new users

Support admin tasks including printing, filing, and collating documents

Ensure data privacy and network security best practices are followed

Travel between campuses as required
Entry Requirements

GCSEs in English and Maths (Grade 4/C or above or equivalent)

Keen interest in IT and technology

Strong communication and problem-solving skills
Training Provided

Apprenticeship Standard: Information Communications Technician (Level 3)

On-the-job training from experienced IT professionals

Classroom-based learning and assessments through an approved training provider
Working Hours

40 hours per week (Monday–Friday, exact hours to be confirmed)
Salary & Benefits

Starting salary: £20,000 per annum
