Compensation

Hourly Pay Rate: You’ll earn $28.00 per hour.

What to Expect in This Role

This is a Teamsters Union driving position. While schedules may vary based on customer demand, you can typically expect a Monday-Friday work week, starting between 3 and 4 AM and finishing when deliveries are complete (approximately an 8-hour shift). Overtime opportunities are available beyond the standard 40 hours.

Your principal location will be the Crossdock at 1108 N 7th Ave, Bozeman, MT 59715, and this role focuses on intrastate deliveries within Montana.

As a Driver, you are crucial to our operations, responsible for safely and efficiently delivering our products to various stores and warehouses. Your commitment to safety and timely deliveries ensures our customers always receive our quality products.

Responsibilities and Duties

Ensure Safety First: Always comply with safety procedures and perform regular checks of your equipment (tractor, trailer, pallet jack, etc.).
Maintain Records: Complete daily field service activities, including preparing receipts, truck logs, and maintenance records.
Execute Deliveries: Perform all duties as scheduled by your Route Manager or Dispatch.

What We’re Looking For

CDL-Class A License: You must have a Class A CDL with at least 2 years of proven safe driving experience.
Direct Store Delivery (DSD) experience is preferred.
Successful completion of our drug test, Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) review, and background check.
FMCSA’s Clearinghouse Registration is required. (A link to get started will be provided).
Customer-Oriented Attitude: Provide excellent support to our key customers.
Safe Driving Record: Minimum one year of safe driving experience with no serious driving convictions (DOT requires checking the last 10 years).
Regulatory Knowledge: Familiarity with OSHA and DOT regulations, as well as local, state, and federal requirements.
Temperature Control: Basic understanding of temperature-controlled food transportation.
Tech Savvy: Proficiency in using a smartphone and Electronic Logging Device (ELD) for logging positions and driving times, along with the ability to use a scanner for deliveries.
Flexibility: Adaptability to changing routes and work schedules.
Work Environment: Comfortable working in outdoor weather conditions and varying temperatures.
