Join Our Team: CDL Class A Truck Driver at Parksite!
Parksite is looking for a CDL Class A Truck Driver to transport building materials in our 48′ flatbed trucks. You’ll be a valued member of our delivery team, focusing on local operations, and we’ve got you covered with technology: routes are downloaded daily with turn-by-turn directions via PeopleNet, and electronic logging and DVIR are also handled by PeopleNet, so no route planning for you! Your primary role will involve expertly positioning and moving trucks and trailers for loading and unloading at both Parksite and customer locations.
What You’ll Do
- Operate company-owned and leased trucks over 4 tons for shipping and receiving.
- Deliver, pick up, and relocate building products and materials.
- Perform required maintenance checks (before, during, and after operations) and submit reports.
- Provide outstanding customer service during all deliveries and pickups.
- Operate all Material Handling Equipment safely and efficiently.
- Maintain all necessary certifications required by DOT, OSHA, and company safety programs.
- Protect company property entrusted to you, keeping it in excellent condition.
- Support overall team operations by performing other assigned tasks.
What We’re Looking For
- CDL Class A license is a must.
- Experience operating Material Handling Equipment.
- Ability to operate and maintain equipment safely at all times.
- Flexibility for overnight runs as shipping needs require.
- One or more years of truck driving experience.
- Willingness to learn to operate all company Material Handling Equipment.
- Ability to handle prolonged sitting and driving, as well as Material Handling Equipment operations.
- Capable of repeatedly lifting 50 lbs.
- Comfortable working in severe weather conditions, both heat and cold.
