Position Overview
Paylocity is seeking a Major Sales Development Representative to join our dynamic team in Lake Mary, FL (Hybrid Schedule). This role is instrumental in generating qualified leads, nurturing prospective clients, and scheduling meetings for Sales Executives through strategic outreach via email, phone, and digital platforms.

Strategic Prospecting: Conduct in-depth research to identify key decision-makers, market trends, and client challenges to guide personalized outreach.

Proactive Outreach: Initiate contact with potential clients using a multichannel approach, including phone, email, and social selling, to create high-value sales opportunities.

Sales Team Collaboration: Partner closely with Account Executives to align on lead-generation strategies and ensure smooth transitions of qualified opportunities.

Insight Gathering: Analyze prospect data to identify business needs, pain points, and opportunities that align with Paylocity’s offerings.

Technology Utilization: Maximize the use of AI dialers, CRM systems, sales engagement platforms, and data tools to streamline prospecting and enhance efficiency.

Relationship Building: Build rapport with prospects through consultative dialogue, positioning Paylocity as a trusted partner in their HR and payroll transformation.

CRM Accuracy: Maintain clean and up-to-date prospect data, track interactions, and leverage insights to optimize outreach.

Qualifications & Experience

Bachelor’s degree preferred, or high school diploma with at least two years of relevant work, military, or equivalent experience

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Self-motivated, driven, and comfortable in a performance-focused environment

Quick learner with the ability to understand new products and tools

Enjoys both independent and collaborative work environments
Physical Requirements

Ability to sit and work at a computer for extended periods (7–8 hours/day)

Compensation & Benefits

Base Salary Range: $47,000 – $50,000 per year (dependent on experience, skills, and qualifications)
