Are you a motivated, creative individual with a passion for social media, marketing, and community engagement? We’re looking for an in-house Social Media & Marketing Assistant to join our team in Reigate. This part-time role offers a hands-on opportunity to develop and implement creative campaigns, build community collaborations, and drive local brand visibility.
Key Responsibilities
Social Media & Content

Create, schedule, and manage engaging content for Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, and Twitter

Monitor trends, comments, and messages across all platforms, ensuring timely engagement

Plan and execute social media campaigns using tools like Mailchimp and scheduling platforms

Track performance metrics and prepare regular social media analytics reports
Marketing & PR

Assist in the creation of marketing materials such as brochures, flyers, and branded content

Support marketing campaign execution across digital and traditional channels
-
Conduct research on competitor activity and emerging trends

Contribute creative ideas to enhance brand visibility and customer engagement
Community & Events

Coordinate local collaborations and partnerships with businesses and influencers

Help plan and organize promotional events and community activations

Attend and support in-person marketing initiatives and campaigns
What We’re Looking For
Skills & Attributes

Strong verbal and written communication skills

Creative thinking with an eye for detail and design

Proficiency in Microsoft Office and social media management tools

A proactive and self-motivated mindset with strong time-management abilities

Ability to thrive both independently and as part of a team
Experience
-
1+ year in social media marketing (required)

1–3 years of experience in digital marketing, PR, or a related field (preferred)

Knowledge of marketing strategy, public relations, and social media analytics

Experience using platforms like Canva, Mailchimp, Meta Business Suite is a plus
Requirements

Must be able to reliably commute to Reigate or plan to relocate before starting

Education: GCSE or equivalent (preferred)

Certificate of Higher Education in Marketing or related field (preferred)
