DN Colleges Group is seeking a dedicated and proactive Higher Education Work Placement Co-ordinator to support our mission of preparing students for successful careers.

What You’ll Do

As a Work Placement Co-ordinator, you will play a vital role in planning, organising, and monitoring high-quality work placements for our HE students. You will act as a key liaison between employers, curriculum teams, and students to ensure placements are safe, valuable, and academically aligned.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate and develop meaningful work placement opportunities across higher education programmes

• Conduct Health & Safety checks and ensure safeguarding standards are met

• Brief students and staff on placement procedures, expectations, and outcomes

• Maintain accurate employer databases and placement records

• Provide guidance on DBS checks and necessary placement documentation

• Liaise regularly with employers and curriculum teams to monitor student progress

• Handle placement-related queries and support continuous improvement initiatives

• Promote a positive and inclusive student experience throughout the placement journey

What We’re Looking For

We’re looking for someone who brings:

• A relevant qualification and strong proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)

• Experience working with young adults (18+) within education or training settings

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Exceptional organisational and planning abilities

• A full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle
