Job Description
Robert Half Finance & Accounting has partnered with a well-established organization in Lafayette, LA, to find an experienced and motivated Human Resources Manager to join their team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage the full recruitment cycle, including job postings, candidate interviews, and final hiring decisions

  • Oversee accurate and timely payroll processing, including onboarding, terminations, compensation updates, and payroll deductions

  • Address employee concerns, manage grievances, and foster a positive and respectful workplace environment

  • Administer compensation structures, benefits packages, and overall employee rewards programs

  • Design and implement training initiatives to enhance workforce development and performance

  • Ensure full compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulatory standards

  • Collaborate with executive leadership to align HR strategies with overall business goals

  • Create initiatives to boost employee engagement, morale, and retention

  • Develop and enforce HR policies, procedures, and employee handbooks

  • Take on additional tasks and projects as assigned


Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or a related discipline required

  • Advanced certifications (e.g., SHRM-CP) or graduate degrees are highly desirable

  • At least 5 years of HR management or related experience

  • Solid background in recruiting, hiring, and talent acquisition best practices

  • Strong working knowledge of payroll operations, including benefits and special deductions

  • Familiarity with federal labor laws and HR compliance standards

  • Proven experience handling employee relations, resolving conflicts, and conducting investigations

  • Demonstrated ability to create, update, and manage HR policies and procedures

  • Expertise in compensation and benefits administration

  • Strong organizational, leadership, and strategic thinking skills
