Job Description:
We are a well-established family-run business currently seeking an experienced and skilled Window and Door Fitter to join our team on a full-time, self-employed basis. Due to increasing customer demand, this is a fantastic opportunity for a qualified tradesperson who is committed to high standards, reliability, and professional customer service.
This role involves the installation of UPVC windows and doors, conservatories, fascias, soffits, and associated systems. You’ll be working on a variety of domestic projects and must be capable of delivering excellent workmanship with minimal supervision.
Key Responsibilities:

Install, repair, and maintain UPVC doors, windows, fascias, soffits, and conservatories

Ensure all fittings are completed to a high professional standard

Follow health and safety protocols at all times on-site

Work independently or as part of a small, friendly team

Provide excellent customer service while maintaining a tidy and respectful work environment

Troubleshoot fitting issues and ensure accurate adjustments where needed

Read and interpret installation drawings, instructions, and technical plans
Candidate Requirements:

Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience in window and door fitting

Extensive knowledge of UPVC systems and general window/door installations

Skilled in using hand and power tools (must provide your own tools)

Experience with conservatory and fascia/soffit fitting is essential

Ability to work safely, neatly, and efficiently

Excellent attention to detail and finishing

Must be punctual, reliable, polite, and presentable

A background in general construction trades is a plus

Full UK driving license preferred

Van can be supplied for the right candidate
