Position Overview

We are currently seeking a qualified and experienced Domestic Electrician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in domestic electrical systems and a focus on conducting Electrical Installation Condition Reports (EICRs).

This role is ideal for someone who is self-motivated, detail-oriented, and confident in customer-facing situations. You’ll be working independently with the support of our office team, software systems, and top-quality tools.

Key Responsibilities

  • Carry out EICR inspections on a variety of domestic properties

  • Perform full electrical testing to ensure compliance with current IET wiring regulations

  • Complete minor remedial works during the EICR visit when necessary

  • Accurately complete and upload digital certificates using the NICEIC Online Portal

  • Manage and update job information using scheduling software, including access notes, time logs, and job statuses

  • Liaise professionally with customers, offering guidance and identifying potential additional works

  • Maintain high standards of documentation and reporting

Requirements

  • Proven experience in domestic electrical work, particularly in EICR testing

  • ECS Card and 18th Edition (required)

  • Full UK Driving Licence (required)

  • 2391 Inspection & Testing qualification (preferred but not essential)

  • Familiarity with NICEIC certification and digital portals

  • Good IT skills for software and reporting purposes

  • Ability to work independently and manage daily schedules

  • Strong communication and customer service skills

  • High attention to detail and problem-solving ability

Schedule

  • Monday to Friday

  • Overtime available

  • Field-based: Work on the road / at customer sites
