About the Role

We’re looking for a dedicated and experienced Shop Maintenance Engineer to join our fantastic team at Greggs. Based in Enfield, this full-time role offers flexibility and a great opportunity to work across a network of approximately 80 shops, ensuring all mechanical and electrical equipment operates smoothly and efficiently.

What You’ll Do

As a Shop Maintenance Engineer, your key responsibilities include:

  • Conducting routine, preventative, and emergency maintenance on shop equipment

  • Performing electrical repairs, fault finding, and installations

  • Carrying out day-to-day property repairs, modifications, and maintenance tasks

  • Ensuring minimal downtime of equipment during breakdowns and maintenance

  • Managing a varied workload across mechanical, electrical, and property maintenance

  • Working flexibly to support business needs, including overtime or shift variations

About You

You’ll thrive in this role if you have:

  • 17th Edition Electrician Qualification (18th Edition desirable)

  • Strong experience in electrical repairs, installations, and preventative maintenance

  • Good knowledge of Food Safety & SHE regulations

  • A valid UK Driving Licence

  • Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail

  • Confidence using Microsoft 365 tools (SharePoint, Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams)

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills

  • A collaborative, team-first attitude with a desire to learn and grow
