About the Role
We’re looking for a dedicated and experienced Shop Maintenance Engineer to join our fantastic team at Greggs. Based in Enfield, this full-time role offers flexibility and a great opportunity to work across a network of approximately 80 shops, ensuring all mechanical and electrical equipment operates smoothly and efficiently.
What You’ll Do
As a Shop Maintenance Engineer, your key responsibilities include:

Conducting routine, preventative, and emergency maintenance on shop equipment

Performing electrical repairs, fault finding, and installations

Carrying out day-to-day property repairs, modifications, and maintenance tasks

Ensuring minimal downtime of equipment during breakdowns and maintenance

Managing a varied workload across mechanical, electrical, and property maintenance
-
Working flexibly to support business needs, including overtime or shift variations
About You
You’ll thrive in this role if you have:

17th Edition Electrician Qualification (18th Edition desirable)

Strong experience in electrical repairs, installations, and preventative maintenance
-
Good knowledge of Food Safety & SHE regulations
-
A valid UK Driving Licence

Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail

Confidence using Microsoft 365 tools (SharePoint, Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams)

Strong verbal and written communication skills

A collaborative, team-first attitude with a desire to learn and grow
