Responsibilities

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

The Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP) plays a pivotal role in executing HR strategies that support business objectives at both executive and local levels. This role works closely with HR Centers of Excellence—including Talent Acquisition, Talent Development, People Services, Labor Relations, Benefits, and Compensation—to align services with organizational goals.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Acting as a strategic partner and liaison between local operations and corporate HR functions.

  • Advising and supporting leadership on employee relations, performance management, conflict resolution, staffing strategies, and workforce planning.

  • Contributing to labor relations activities such as investigations, grievances, arbitrations, legal proceedings, and contract negotiations when required.

  • Ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws, as well as company policies across all HR processes.

  • Managing multiple projects efficiently, with a high level of organization and attention to detail in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

  • Demonstrating strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build relationships across all organizational levels.

  • Traveling periodically to support various business locations throughout Northern California.


Qualifications

Education & Experience:

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in Human Resources.

  • At least 2 years of direct experience in labor relations, including handling complex employee relations issues and grievances (preferred).

  • Experience supporting multiple locations is highly desirable.

  • Solid understanding of federal and state employment laws.

  • High school diploma or equivalent is required; a bachelor’s degree is preferred.

Skills & Competencies:

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.

  • Strong communication, problem-solving, and relationship-building skills.

Certifications:

  • Professional in Human Resources (PHR) certification is preferred.


Compensation & Benefits

  • Salary Range: $83,000–$88,000 annually
