Our client, a well-established and rapidly growing organization based in Montgomery County, MD, is seeking a Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) Manager to join their team. Position Overview:
The FP&A Manager will play a critical role in driving the company’s financial performance through strategic forecasting, budgeting, and analysis. Acting as a key business partner to cross-functional teams, this individual will support senior leadership with financial insights that inform decision-making and contribute to the organization’s long-term goals.
Key Responsibilities:

Lead the development, enhancement, and maintenance of financial forecasts and annual budgets

Build and refine complex financial models to evaluate business performance, strategic initiatives, and potential investments

Partner with business unit leaders to analyze operational trends and align financial plans with corporate objectives

Prepare and present comprehensive financial reports and performance metrics to executive leadership

Drive continuous improvements in FP&A processes, reporting systems, and tools

Support ad hoc analysis and scenario modeling to guide strategic planning and resource allocation
Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field (MBA or CPA preferred but not required)

Minimum of 4 years of hands-on FP&A experience, including financial modeling, budgeting, and forecasting

Proficiency in advanced Excel functions (e.g., pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, macros); familiarity with financial planning tools is a plus

Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with keen attention to detail

Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to convey complex financial concepts to non-financial stakeholders
