A Vital Role Supporting Specialist Dementia and Assistive Technology Services

Are you highly organised, IT-literate, and motivated to support a busy clinical team making a difference in dementia care? Join South London and Maudsley NHS Foundation Trust as a Part-Time Team Administrator supporting the Dementia Clinical Nurse Specialist (DCNS) Service and the Lewisham Assistive Technology Occupational Therapist (ATOT).

Your Role

As a Team Administrator, you’ll provide comprehensive secretarial and administrative support to the DCNS team, including three specialist nurses serving Lewisham and Southwark. You’ll also support the ATOT service, working closely with clinicians and fellow administrators to ensure seamless service delivery.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide efficient secretarial and administrative support to clinical teams.

  • Manage calendars, appointments, and correspondence via Outlook.

  • Maintain and update clinical documentation and service records.

  • Support team meetings and minute-taking as required.

  • Use IT systems confidently, learning new platforms and processes as needed.

  • Work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, high-demand environment.

What We’re Looking For

 Strong communication, interpersonal, and organisational skills
 Proficient in Microsoft Office – Outlook, Word, Excel
 Comfortable with new technologies and systems
 Ability to work under pressure, manage time effectively, and meet deadlines
 Experience in an administrative role, ideally within a healthcare setting
