Key Responsibilities

Process weekly payroll in a timely and accurate manner

Collect, validate, and enter payroll data including hours worked, bonuses, and deductions

Review and reconcile employee timesheets and attendance records

Ensure compliance with all applicable federal, state, and local wage, hour, and payroll regulations

Prepare and issue paychecks or direct deposit notifications

Address and resolve employee payroll-related questions and concerns

Maintain accurate payroll records and employee documentation

Collaborate with HR and accounting to ensure accurate updates for new hires, terminations, raises, and other changes

Generate payroll-related reports for internal management, audits, and year-end tax filings (including W-2s and 1099s)

Support internal and external audits, maintaining strict confidentiality of payroll information
Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field preferred

Minimum of 1 year of experience in payroll or a related administrative role

Proficient in payroll software and Microsoft Office, especially Excel

Strong organizational skills and exceptional attention to detail

Solid understanding of payroll laws and tax regulations

Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities

Ability to manage confidential information with discretion
Preferred Qualifications

Experience using iSolved or Employdrive payroll systems
-
Certification such as FPC (Fundamental Payroll Certification) or CPP (Certified Payroll Professional)
