How You Will Make an Impact

  • Champion HR initiatives that align with company strategy and culture.

  • Serve as a trusted advisor to functional leaders, driving people-focused initiatives that support business goals.

  • Promote and reinforce Land O’Frost’s values, strengthening a culture of engagement and respect.

  • Support internal communications and community outreach programs that reflect the company’s social responsibility commitment.

  • Design and execute effective recruitment and retention strategies for both hourly and salaried employees, ensuring cultural fit and long-term success.

  • Analyze HR metrics—such as turnover, retention, and engagement—to identify trends and lead continuous improvement initiatives.

  • Lead the performance management process to enhance employee accountability and productivity.

  • Guide managers and supervisors on performance-related conversations and practices.

  • Facilitate succession planning discussions and strategies with the plant leadership team.

  • Provide guidance on employee relations and company benefit programs.

  • Ensure compliance with all applicable federal and state employment laws and regulations.

  • Participate in monthly budget planning and forecasting to align HR goals with financial objectives.


What You Bring

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field. SHRM certification may substitute for degree requirements.

  • At least 5 years of progressive HR experience in a manufacturing environment.

  • A strong track record of effectively leading and developing a team.

  • Demonstrated success in coaching and training employees and leaders at all levels of the organization.

  • Exceptional organizational, analytical, and communication skills.
