Responsibilities
The individual in this role will be responsible for managing a portfolio of clients located both locally and nationwide. The majority of these clients are fully insured, with some falling under self-insured arrangements.

Serve as the primary point of contact for clients and insurance carriers, handling day-to-day service needs and complex customer service issues with professionalism and efficiency.

Foster strong relationships with clients, producers, and internal teams to ensure seamless communication and high levels of client satisfaction.

Monitor and manage the renewal process, ensuring that all renewals are addressed promptly to avoid any lapse in coverage. Oversee team efforts to leverage external vendors and partners as needed.

Lead the preparation and coordination of renewals and RFPs, including summarizing vendor responses, analyzing proposals, and developing strategic presentations for clients.

Direct the marketing process, which includes gathering client census data, submitting bid specifications, and evaluating carrier responses to make informed recommendations.

Establish and maintain trusted relationships with employer/group clients (not individual members), representing their interests internally and coordinating with various departments to meet project and service delivery goals.

Take ownership of designated renewals, including the preparation and communication of renewal details.

Oversee new client onboarding, renewals, and facilitate open enrollment meetings.

Provide clients with insights and guidance on industry legislation and market trends.

Advise clients on key compliance matters, including ERISA, COBRA, FMLA, Form 5500 filings, and Health Care Reform.
Qualifications

Active Life, Accident, and Health Insurance License required.

Ability to work on-site in Wayne, PA office three days per week.

Bachelor’s degree strongly preferred.

Proven experience managing a book of business.

Demonstrated experience in open enrollment and renewals.

Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and related tools.
Compensation for this role will be based on the selected candidate’s education, experience, location, and skill set.
