Position Summary
Huntington is seeking an experienced Equipment Finance Sales Executive to develop and manage a profitable equipment leasing portfolio. This role involves building strong customer relationships, structuring complex financing solutions, and partnering with internal banking teams to drive new business. The position also includes negotiating lease terms, managing lease documentation, and monitoring customer creditworthiness, including delinquency follow-up when necessary.
Key Responsibilities

Develop new equipment leasing business while maintaining a high-quality, specialized portfolio.

Partner with Large Corporate, Commercial, and Private Financial Group bankers to deliver tailored financing solutions.

Conduct direct sales efforts and identify cross-sell opportunities for other Huntington financial products.

Negotiate lease structures and buyouts, ensuring compliance with all internal and external regulatory standards.

Prepare required leasing documentation and ensure accurate deal execution.

Monitor the ongoing financial health of customers and follow up on delinquent accounts.

Provide industry insights and market trends to executive leadership.

Support internal teams by preparing deal preview packages and maintaining thorough documentation.

Perform additional duties as assigned.
Basic Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree
-
Minimum of 5 years of experience in the leasing industry and/or commercial banking
Preferred Qualifications

Formal credit training background

Proven success in structuring complex credit transactions

Strong ability to analyze, present, and document financial information

Leadership experience including coaching and team development

Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel
