The Opportunity

We’re looking for a proactive, organised, and collaborative Project Coordinator to join our dynamic team. In this pivotal role, you’ll ensure projects are planned, executed, and delivered efficiently—on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Project Planning & Scheduling:
    Assist in developing project plans, timelines, and budgets. Coordinate meetings and keep stakeholders aligned.

  • Resource Coordination:
    Manage and allocate personnel, materials, and equipment to optimise resource use.

  • Communication:
    Serve as a key point of contact between internal teams, stakeholders, and external vendors. Ensure clear, timely communication throughout each project phase.

  • Documentation:
    Maintain accurate records including reports, change logs, risk assessments, and meeting minutes.

  • Risk & Issue Management:
    Identify and escalate potential risks or delivery issues, supporting mitigation planning.

  • Quality Assurance:
    Track deliverables to ensure they meet agreed standards and customer expectations.

  • Budget Monitoring:
    Support tracking of project expenses, maintaining alignment with financial goals.

  • Technical Support:
    Provide administrative support to the Workshop where required.

What We’re Looking For

Essential:

  • Proven experience in a project coordination or similar administrative role

  • Excellent organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills

  • High attention to detail and prioritisation ability

  • Proactive problem-solving skills and a can-do attitude

  • Strong interpersonal skills with a collaborative approach

Desirable:

  • Degree or qualification in Business, Project Management or related field

  • Knowledge of project management tools (e.g. MS Project, Trello, Asana)

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)

  • Project Management certification (e.g. PRINCE2, PMP)

  • Experience within agriculture or rural sectors

  • Familiarity with Agile or Waterfall methodologies
