Chapman Property Maintenance is actively seeking a highly skilled, reliable, and versatile multi-skilled tradesperson to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will have strong painting and decorating skills combined with a willingness to undertake a broad variety of domestic property maintenance and improvement tasks. All work is located within a 10-mile radius of SG16 6NE, so being within easy commuting distance and having your own transport is essential.
Key Responsibilities
You will be involved in a wide range of duties across internal, external, and landscaping projects, including but not limited to:

External maintenance and construction: Installing and repairing fencing and decking, laying paving and block paving, clearing gardens, and constructing timber buildings such as sheds or garden rooms.

Internal property work: Painting and decorating (a core focus), fitting kitchens and bathrooms, constructing stud walls, and carrying out various repair and maintenance tasks.

Landscaping: Performing hard and soft landscaping duties to enhance outdoor spaces, including garden design and planting assistance.
You must be adaptable and able to confidently switch between tasks, maintaining high workmanship standards that uphold our reputation with a portfolio of satisfied, repeat customers.
Candidate Requirements

Proven experience in painting and decorating is essential, demonstrating a high level of skill and attention to detail.

Experience working with Timbabuild or similar repair and restoration systems is a significant advantage.

A flexible, can-do attitude with the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.

Own reliable transport and tools are mandatory due to the nature of the work locations.

Reside within approximately 10 miles of SG16 6NE (Lower Stondon / Henlow).
