Role Overview

As a Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer, you will be responsible for carrying out pre-planned maintenance, reactive repairs, and quoted works on supermarket sites throughout Yorkshire. This role requires a strong trade background, a proactive approach, and the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.

Key Responsibilities

• Review audit and work lists for upcoming planned maintenance

• Collect necessary materials and equipment to complete assigned tasks

• Attend stores to complete Construction Phase Plans

• Conduct dynamic risk assessments using BigChange software

• Perform general building fabric and structural maintenance (non-mechanical/electrical)

• Complete job sheets accurately on JobLogic to record work carried out

• Respond to reactive call-outs as directed by the help desk and perform temporary repairs

• Participate in on-call rota (1 week in 5) to handle out-of-hours emergency call-outs

• Report daily to the Facilities Management Supervisor

Candidate Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years’ experience as a Maintenance Engineer in a similar role

• Qualified trade background essential

• Proficient IT skills

• Strong communication and analytical skills

• High attention to detail

• Full UK driving licence with a maximum of 3 penalty points

Working Hours & Schedule

• Monday to Friday, day shifts (8 or 10-hour shifts)
