What You’ll Do

  • Lead business growth within your assigned region and across various segments of Private Capital.

  • Identify and qualify potential clients through strategic networking, internal sales development resources, regional leadership initiatives, existing relationships, cold calling, and targeted email outreach.

  • Consistently build and manage a robust sales pipeline totaling over $1 million in potential opportunities.

  • Understand each prospect’s buying behavior and align the proven DealCloud sales methodology to guide them toward confident purchasing decisions.

  • Engage stakeholders across the organization to demonstrate the value of the DealCloud platform.

  • Discover what matters most to each decision-maker and clearly show how DealCloud addresses their specific business needs.

  • Cultivate relationships through multiple in-person, social, and professional touchpoints to gather insight and tailor solutions.

  • Collaborate with teams across DealCloud—including services, training, support, and product—to ensure long-term client success.

  • Prepare, deliver, and present tailored proposals that address client goals.

  • Navigate complex, multi-stakeholder negotiations at the executive level.

  • Achieve annual sales targets of $500K+ in subscription and services revenue within your assigned region.


What You’ll Need

  • A minimum of 8 years’ experience in consultative, value-based sales, with a strong history of success.

  • Background in sales roles within banking, expert networks, consulting, accounting, or financial technology, particularly focused on financial services clients.

  • Demonstrated ability to manage value-driven client engagements and sales cycles.

  • A motivated, entrepreneurial mindset with a proactive, collaborative, and confident approach.

  • Strong communication and presentation skills, coupled with intellectual curiosity and a results-oriented attitude.

  • Deep understanding of the private capital ecosystem, including private equity, growth capital, asset management, pension funds, sovereign wealth funds, private lenders, and secondary investors.

  • Experience selling to private equity or investment banking clients or working for an enterprise software company serving financial institutions.

For NYC-based positions, the base salary range is $150,000 to $160,000 per year.
Final compensation is determined based on experience, location, and internal equity. Variable compensation and equity incentives are also part of the total rewards package.
