Key Responsibilities

  • Proactively generate new leads through outbound calls, emails, and CRM tools to identify potential clients in need of transportation, warehousing, or fulfillment services

  • Qualify and nurture leads through the sales pipeline; collaborate with account managers and operations teams to close business

  • Clearly communicate the company’s expertise in handling high-value, high-security freight

  • Schedule and lead virtual meetings or calls to present tailored logistics solutions

  • Maintain accurate and detailed records of sales activities, customer interactions, and lead statuses within the CRM system

  • Consistently meet or exceed monthly KPIs and sales targets, including call volume, lead conversion, and revenue goals

  • Stay informed on industry trends, competitors, and market shifts to better position the company’s services

  • Support quoting, proposal development, and work with internal teams to ensure smooth onboarding for new clients


Qualifications & Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, Logistics, or related field preferred — or at least 3 years of proven sales experience in logistics, transportation, freight brokerage, or supply chain

  • A strong “hunter” mindset with a professional, winning attitude and positive presence

  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence decision-makers

  • Highly organized with keen attention to detail

  • Self-driven and results-oriented; thrives in a goal-driven, fast-paced sales environment

  • Proficiency in CRM platforms (e.g., HubSpot), Microsoft Office, and other sales tools

  • Ability to quickly grasp and articulate complex logistics solutions
