About the Role
Clarkson Evans, the UK’s largest electrical and solar installer in the new-build housing sector, is offering a 4-year Apprentice Electrician programme. This hands-on apprenticeship will train you to become a fully qualified electrician, focusing on new home installations.
You’ll spend most of your time working on active construction sites within a 1-hour radius of the Milton Keynes branch, alongside a small, experienced team. One day a week will be allocated to off-the-job training through remote learning and practical sessions at one of our training centres.
Key Responsibilities

Assist in wiring new-build homes from start to finish

Learn to install, test, and certify electrical systems

Follow safety regulations and instructions from senior electricians

Take part in weekly training and remote learning

Maintain a flexible and hardworking attitude

Contribute positively to team performance and dynamics
Working Hours

Monday to Friday, early starts (typically 7:00 am or earlier)

Finish times vary based on workload

Occasional weekend or evening work during busy periods
What You’ll Need

Age Requirement: 18 or over

Driving Licence: Full UK manual licence (essential)

Education: GCSE grade C / 4 or higher in Maths and English (or equivalent)

Interest in practical work: DIY or hands-on experience is valued

Physical fitness: Comfortable with manual, demanding tasks
