About the Role
We’re looking for an experienced Regional Maintenance Electrician to join a mobile team supporting multiple contracts across Woking, Horsham, Fareham, and the Isle of Wight. You’ll be provided with a company van, equipment, and tools to perform diverse electrical work across various public sector and commercial environments — including universities, social housing, council buildings, leisure facilities, and office spaces.
This is a hands-on role covering:

Electrical inspection and testing
-
Reactive repairs & fault finding
-
PPMs (Planned Preventative Maintenance)
-
Full rewires
-
Kitchen & bathroom installations
-
Commercial heating system wiring
Key Responsibilities:
-
Diagnose faults and carry out repairs across electrical systems
-
Perform installations in residential and commercial properties
-
Support other trades when required
-
Respond to urgent call-outs swiftly and professionally
-
Comply with current IEE Wiring Regulations

Maintain tools, van, and equipment in good condition
-
Complete risk assessments and work within health & safety guidelines
-
Participate in an on-call rota (with occasional out-of-hours work)
What You’ll Need:

NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation (Essential)

18th Edition Wiring Regulations (Essential)
-
C&G 2391 or equivalent in Testing & Inspection (Essential)
-
Full UK Driving Licence (Essential)
-
CSCS card and AM2 qualification (Advantageous)

Over 3 years’ experience in building maintenance

Strong knowledge of tools, materials, and electrical safety standards

Good communication skills and a professional, flexible approach
