About the Role

We are looking to strengthen our Construction team with a safety-driven and experienced Electrical Site Supervisor. In this key role, you’ll oversee electrical activities on-site, ensure compliance with safety and quality standards, supervise electricians and subcontractors, and contribute to timely, within-budget project delivery.

What You’ll Be Doing

1. Operate and Promote a Safe Working Site

  • Adhere to @One Alliance Electrical Safety rules and legal regulations.

  • Conduct site inspections and ensure safe working practices.

  • Deliver toolbox talks and daily briefings.

  • Confirm all operatives are trained and certified for their tasks.

  • Perform plant checks and maintain up-to-date documentation.

  • Issue and manage permits to work and electrical isolations.

2. Ensure Quality Control

  • Follow inspection and test plans (ITPs) to maintain high quality.

  • Monitor the quality of work performed by both internal teams and subcontractors.

  • Submit red-line termination and single-line diagrams (SLDs).

3. Support On-Time, On-Budget Delivery

  • Plan and coordinate daily tasks of site operatives and subcontractors.

  • Monitor progress and report to the Site Manager.

  • Adjust workflows as needed to stay on schedule and within budget.

4. Manage Site Resources

  • Order, track, and manage plant and electrical materials.

  • Ensure the right equipment is on-site, in good condition, and used efficiently.

5. Authorised Person Responsibilities

  • Supervise electricians and support commissioning phases.

  • Issue electrical permits and manage isolations.

  • Complete electrical audits and ensure all required documentation is submitted.

  • Liaise with electrical engineers and external design consultants.

What We’re Looking For

  • Previous experience in a supervisory role in construction/electrical works.

  • Strong understanding of electrical systems and safety compliance.

  • Excellent leadership, coordination, and communication skills.

  • Recognized electrical qualification (e.g., NVQ, City & Guilds, ECS Gold Card).

  • Health & Safety certifications (e.g., SMSTS, First Aid, Permit to Work).
