Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and reliable Electrician or Electricians Mate to join our team. This freelance role involves installing and maintaining electrical systems across a variety of commercial environments, including:

CAT A & B office fit-outs
-
Historic building refurbishments
-
Retail stores, restaurants, theatres, and galleries
Experience working in diverse commercial environments is essential.
The ideal candidate will be technically proficient, safety-conscious, and able to work independently or as part of a team.
Key Responsibilities

Install electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures

Read and interpret technical diagrams and blueprints
-
Diagnose and repair electrical faults

Operate hand and power tools safely and efficiently
-
Ensure all work complies with H&S regulations and site standards
-
Collaborate with other trades on-site to ensure timely project delivery
-
Maintain accurate job and material records
-
Follow all health and safety procedures at all times
Experience & Skills Required
-
Minimum 3 years’ experience as an Electrician or Electricians Mate
-
Competence with electrical tools and equipment
-
Strong understanding of wiring systems and safety regulations
-
Ability to read technical documents and drawings
-
Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
-
Relevant qualifications or certifications in electrical work
Must Have:
