Role Overview: Human Resources Strategy Business Partner

As a Human Resources Strategy Business Partner, you will play a critical role in aligning people strategies with business goals to drive performance, engagement, and transformation across Mondelēz International’s U.S. operations. You’ll collaborate with senior leaders across global corporate functions to shape talent strategies, enable capability development, and foster a culture of growth and inclusivity.


How You’ll Contribute

People Strategy

  • Partner with business leaders to design and implement organization strategies, support transformation initiatives, and build a culture that inspires employee engagement and growth.

  • Support large-scale change initiatives by applying strategic people insights and change management expertise.

Talent Development

  • Lead the development and execution of talent strategies across early career, experienced hires, and internal mobility pipelines.

  • Promote continuous learning by driving awareness of career pathing tools and fostering year-round development conversations.

  • Advise leaders on key talent management areas, including workforce planning, succession planning, performance management, and leadership development.

  • Collaborate with the Talent Acquisition COE to attract, hire, and onboard high-performing talent.

Capability Building

  • Partner with leadership to execute functional and leadership capability initiatives.

  • Curate relevant development opportunities using global resources and lead at least two development week events annually for your function.

Culture & Engagement

  • Act as a co-owner of culture initiatives alongside business leaders.

  • Lead projects that promote engagement, inclusivity, and retention.

  • Use people analytics to guide data-driven decisions and coach leaders based on engagement survey insights.

  • Manage communications strategies using channels such as Town Halls, newsletters, and development events to support a unified employee experience.

People Processes

  • Partner with leadership to implement annual HR processes, including goal setting, talent reviews, performance assessments, and compensation planning.

  • Provide strategic support for workforce and overhead planning.


What You’ll Bring

  • Strong business acumen and HR leadership experience, capable of influencing strategic priorities.

  • Expertise in developing HR operating models and people capability roadmaps to support business growth.

  • Broad generalist HR experience, ideally in the consumer packaged goods (CPG/FMCG) sector.

  • Proven ability to coach senior leaders, lead change initiatives, and inspire teams.

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities with a future-focused mindset and external market awareness.

  • Strong communication, facilitation, and presentation skills.

  • Experience with global corporate functions is preferred.


Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, or related field

  • 10+ years of HR experience, including at least 5 years of partnering with senior leadership

  • Background in organizational design, change management, and talent strategy execution

  • Prior experience in CPG or similar fast-paced industries strongly preferred

  • Strong influencing, communication, and stakeholder management skills


Compensation and Benefits

  • Base salary range: $137,300 – $188,825 (based on experience, education, and skills)
