Position Overview

As a Payroll & Benefits Specialist at iSuite, you will play a key role in supporting our workforce through accurate payroll processing and effective benefits administration. This position is ideal for someone who is detail-oriented, organized, and passionate about providing outstanding employee service in a dynamic construction services environment.


Key Responsibilities

  • Accurately prepare and process payroll for both union and non-union employees, including verifying hours, pay rates, per diem, travel incentives, and wellness reimbursements (dental, gym, etc.).

  • Maintain and update payroll records, tax forms, and direct deposit information.

  • Generate and submit union reports on a weekly and/or monthly basis.

  • Communicate effectively with Project Managers, Field Foremen, and Safety personnel to coordinate new hire data and daily field time entries.

  • Support benefits administration, including employee enrollments, updates, and changes.

  • Serve as a point of contact for employee inquiries related to payroll and benefits.

  • Ensure completion and proper documentation of new hire paperwork, including scanning and digital filing.

  • Maintain compliance with state new hire reporting and E-Verify processes.

  • Assist in audits and the preparation of payroll-related reports.

  • Manage incoming phone calls, voicemails, and outgoing mail as needed.

  • Maintain strict confidentiality regarding all employee payroll and personnel matters.


Qualifications

  • Prior experience in a Payroll Specialist or similar role.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).

  • Strong attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.

  • Excellent organizational and time-management abilities.

  • Capable of managing confidential information with integrity and discretion.

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.

  • Able to work independently and collaboratively within a team setting.
