Senior Manager, Product Operations
We’re seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Manager, Product Operations to play a pivotal role in optimizing our product lifecycle and operational efficiency. You’ll be a key leader in ensuring our product initiatives are executed flawlessly and contribute to our overall success in improving healthcare.
What You’ll Be Doing:
As a Senior Manager, Product Operations, you’ll be responsible for:
- Building Relationships: Establishing and nurturing strong relationships with key stakeholders, management, and external partners.
- Problem Resolution & Improvement: Identifying and resolving key issues, gaps, or problems, while continuously improving operations from both quality and cost perspectives.
- Cross-functional Partnership: Collaborating with various teams across the organization to achieve objectives and ensure successful operational implementations.
- Operational Project Oversight: Overseeing all operational projects, working closely with the Product Management Team and Leadership to drive multiple simultaneous initiatives to successful completion, within budget.
- Driving Key Work Products: Taking the lead on critical operational deliverables, including (but not limited to) business case development, department and product line budgets/costs, governance of processes, procedures, tools, and forecasting work and staffing needs.
- Leading Operational Improvements: Leading or participating in key operational improvement efforts such as product performance measurement and process/technology enhancement planning.
- Executive Reporting: Contributing to executive-level reporting to support leadership decisions, and leading/participating in department and client-oriented operational improvements like productivity enhancement, activity reporting, dashboard management, and process/technology optimization.
- Subject Matter Expert: Serving as the subject matter expert for Senior Management in assigned Product and Operational areas.
- Compliance & Confidentiality: Ensuring compliance with Inovalon’s policies, procedures, and mission, and strictly adhering to all confidentiality and HIPAA requirements.
- Fulfilling Company Needs: Performing other duties as reasonably provided by Inovalon to achieve operational and financial success.
What We’re Looking For:
We’re seeking a professional with:
- Experience with Software Development Lifecycles.
- A proven ability to quickly grasp new concepts, plan work, and execute projects in a fast-paced environment.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interact at all levels.
- Exceptional portfolio management and business analytics skills to lead process improvement initiatives.
- A detail-oriented and entrepreneurial mindset, with a preference for being held accountable for results.
- Strong analytical skills and an aptitude for understanding both the business and technical aspects of our operations.
- The ability to work with minimal supervision, manage tight deadlines, and prioritize multiple initiatives.
- Exceptional knowledge of Microsoft Office products, including Word, Excel, SharePoint, and MS Lists.
- Experience with Product analytics and PowerBI or similar tools.
- Superior problem-solving, analytical, and critical thinking skills.
- Experience with Gainsight, Pendo, or similar tools.
- An understanding of Product Management principles (previous Product Management experience is a plus).
- Previous Healthcare experience is a plus.
Education:
- A Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience is required.
Physical Demands and Work Environment:
This role involves sedentary work, primarily sitting for long periods, with occasional exertion of up to 10 pounds of force. It may require frequent or constant lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, or otherwise moving objects and repetitive motions. You’ll be working in an indoor environment, with less than 5% local travel typically for training purposes.
Compensation and Benefits:
Inovalon offers a competitive salary and benefits package.
The base compensation range for this position is $95,800—$125,000 USD. Please note that the actual base pay may vary based on factors such as job-related knowledge/skills, experience, business needs, geographical location, and internal equity. It’s not typical for individuals to be hired at or near the top end of the range, as compensation decisions are based on the unique circumstances of each position and candidate.
