Role Purpose
The Nursery Manager will provide professional leadership and management across the nurseries, ensuring high standards of care and education while maintaining full compliance with legislation and internal policies. You will manage the day-to-day operations thoughtfully, balancing the needs of staff, children, and families.
This role is mainly office-based but includes some classroom cover and involvement to support staff and children’s development.
Key Responsibilities

Lead and manage nursery operations, including strategic planning, monitoring, and evaluation

Deliver and maintain the highest standards of care and education

Ensure compliance with legislative requirements and nursery policies

Support and develop staff through hands-on involvement and guidance

Make thoughtful, sensible decisions on daily nursery management
Candidate Requirements

Level 3 or above qualification in childcare (required)

Preferably 2+ years of nursery management experience

Strong leadership and communication skills

Passionate about childcare and early years education

Proactive, with the ability to work flexibly to support nursery needs
