About the Role

As a Sales Associate at Hermès, you will play an integral part in driving boutique success by achieving individual and team sales goals while delivering an exceptional client experience. You’ll support all aspects of the selling floor, maintain merchandising standards, ensure accuracy at the point of sale, and uphold asset protection protocols—all while embodying the luxury, craftsmanship, and heritage of the Hermès brand.


Key Responsibilities

Sales Objectives

  • Consistently meet or exceed monthly and annual individual sales targets

  • Collaborate with team members to help the boutique reach its collective goals

  • Organize and maintain the selling floor to optimize customer experience

  • Ensure proper storage and replenishment of supplies such as packaging materials and stationery

  • Assist with inventory prep and execution, adhering to visual merchandising and product tagging guidelines

Point of Sale (POS) Operations

  • Accurately process all sales transactions, including CRM data, SKUs, and payment methods

  • Support after-sales services and ensure proper documentation of customer purchases

  • Communicate discrepancies and partner with management to resolve any POS issues

  • Keep the register area clean, organized, and fully operational at all times

Asset Protection

  • Follow all asset protection policies including sign-in procedures and bag checks

  • Ensure merchandise is properly tagged and secured both on the floor and in stock areas

  • Participate in physical inventories and monthly cycle counts as needed

  • Monitor and maintain key control and security standards

Client Service

  • Provide a warm, attentive, and knowledgeable experience aligned with Hermès service standards

  • Greet clients promptly, offer assistance, and ensure seamless transactions including packaging at POS


About You

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in retail sales; luxury experience is preferred

  • Strong relationship-building and communication skills

  • Even-tempered with an ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment

  • Highly self-motivated and able to work independently while also being a team player

  • Excellent organizational skills and keen attention to detail

  • Open availability to meet the needs of the business, including weekends and holidays

  • Ability to lift up to 25 lbs. unassisted


Compensation

  • Hourly Rate: $23.72 – $26.22

  • Compensation is based on role, location, and individual experience
