Key Responsibilities

Collaborate with customers to drive retail sales and execute on business objectives.

Identify opportunities to provide consultative support to both individuals and business clients.

Learn and apply core sales strategies and develop a solid understanding of CHS’s products, customer base, industry trends, and internal operations.

Participate in shadowing and assist senior staff in handling sales opportunities as needed.

Maintain and grow a list of current and prospective customers through targeted outreach.

Represent the local cooperative by visiting customers, fostering relationships, and promoting CHS offerings.

Assist in the development of bids and proposals, from basic to moderately complex.

Help create and deliver straightforward customer presentations.

Gather market intelligence and insights on industry trends, competitors, and sales activities.

Deliver exceptional customer service by understanding and addressing client needs promptly.

Build working product knowledge across CHS’s portfolio.
-
Champion safety practices by identifying and addressing hazards and following all safety policies and procedures.

Qualifications
Minimum Requirements:

High school diploma or GED
-
Knowledge of sales principles, business development, or sales operations
Preferred Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or related field

Strong written and verbal communication skills
-
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint

Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
