What You’ll Do

  • Operate as a 100% hunter, proactively identifying and engaging with small business owners to introduce Fiserv’s Clover solutions.

  • Leverage partnerships with non-bank entities to generate leads and initiate in-person conversations with prospective clients.

  • Schedule and conduct on-site meetings at restaurants and local businesses to assess needs, demonstrate product capabilities, and present customized Clover solutions.

  • Use consultative sales strategies to convert leads into clients, while driving revenue through personalized, in-depth product education.

  • Personally install Clover POS systems and deliver hands-on training to ensure smooth setup and effective usage.

  • Embody Fiserv’s core values by maintaining high ethical standards and developing genuine relationships with clients and team members.

  • Travel regularly within the Bakersfield, CA area to meet with potential clients and support sales efforts through face-to-face interactions.


What You Need to Have

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in a quota-driven, self-sourcing sales environment.

  • At least 2 years of cold calling and prospecting experience.

  • Proven ability to independently generate leads and close deals with small to mid-sized businesses.


What Would Be Great to Have

  • 3+ years of sales experience, ideally in a tech or POS-focused role.

  • A Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or a related field.


Compensation

  • Salary Range: $39,600 – $92,400 (Applicable to candidates in CA, IL, and DC; ranges may vary by location.)

  • Commission-eligible role, with earnings based on performance in accordance with Fiserv’s Sales Compensation Plan.
