Key Responsibilities

Establish and maintain regular communication with clients through in-person meetings, phone calls, and written correspondence.

Prepare and review comprehensive client reports to support ongoing portfolio management.

Provide tailored investment advice and strategies based on each client’s financial goals and objectives.

Conduct periodic reviews of client portfolios to ensure alignment with both MAI’s asset allocation strategies and the client’s individualized investment policy statements (IPS).

Execute trades across various asset classes, including individual securities, mutual funds, ETFs, and alternative investments, ensuring compliance with IPS guidelines.

Support business development efforts by engaging with prospective clients and contributing to client acquisition initiatives.

Participate in internal investment committees, such as asset allocation, equity, fixed income, manager research, alternatives, and MLP committees, to inform investment strategies.

Continuously expand market knowledge through ongoing research, including reviewing white papers, financial periodicals, research reports, and other industry literature.

Collaborate with financial planners to deliver comprehensive financial guidance, including areas such as cash flow planning, estate and tax strategies.

Evaluate private investment opportunities and conduct ad-hoc research on behalf of clients.
Required Experience & Credentials

Minimum of 6 years of experience in investment management or related financial services field

In-depth knowledge of financial markets and asset classes

Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, or related discipline (required); MBA or CFA designation strongly preferred
