Key Responsibilities

Utilize Paychex’s Go-to-Market Sales Strategy to identify client needs and present tailored solutions—whether in-person or virtually—to key decision-makers.

Build and grow a pipeline through cold calling, direct outreach, seminars, referrals, and other marketing efforts.

Schedule meetings with prospective clients and referral sources to generate high-quality leads.

Assess client requirements, recommend appropriate Paychex services, and collaborate with internal teams as needed.

Accurately complete and submit new business paperwork, expense reports, and weekly sales activity logs within set deadlines.

Ensure prompt resolution of customer concerns and maintain long-term relationships.

Represent Paychex professionally in all client and community interactions.

Occasional travel outside the assigned region for training, conferences, or team meetings may be required.
Qualifications

High School Diploma or GED required; Bachelor’s degree preferred.

Minimum 5 years of sales experience, preferably in B2B or enterprise environments.

At least 3 years in Human Capital Management (HCM) industry preferred.

Valid driver’s license required.
Compensation
The total compensation range for this role is typically between $75,000 and $150,000, which includes base salary plus commissions. Final compensation is influenced by factors such as location, experience, education, and skills.
