Key Responsibilities

  • Utilize Paychex’s Go-to-Market Sales Strategy to identify client needs and present tailored solutions—whether in-person or virtually—to key decision-makers.

  • Build and grow a pipeline through cold calling, direct outreach, seminars, referrals, and other marketing efforts.

  • Schedule meetings with prospective clients and referral sources to generate high-quality leads.

  • Assess client requirements, recommend appropriate Paychex services, and collaborate with internal teams as needed.

  • Accurately complete and submit new business paperwork, expense reports, and weekly sales activity logs within set deadlines.

  • Ensure prompt resolution of customer concerns and maintain long-term relationships.

  • Represent Paychex professionally in all client and community interactions.

  • Occasional travel outside the assigned region for training, conferences, or team meetings may be required.


Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED required; Bachelor’s degree preferred.

  • Minimum 5 years of sales experience, preferably in B2B or enterprise environments.

  • At least 3 years in Human Capital Management (HCM) industry preferred.

  • Valid driver’s license required.


Compensation

The total compensation range for this role is typically between $75,000 and $150,000, which includes base salary plus commissions. Final compensation is influenced by factors such as location, experience, education, and skills.
