Key Responsibilities

Serve as the primary point of contact for identifying and engaging prospective clients for distribution and channel management initiatives.

Build and maintain professional relationships to thoroughly understand customer needs and recommend tailored products and services that meet those needs while achieving sales targets.

Generate revenue growth through in-field sales engagements across assigned or targeted accounts.

Manage sales activities across assigned accounts, ensuring coordination with account service and sales support teams.

Conduct customer surveys to gather insights and identify opportunities to collaborate with channel partners for broader market coverage and value creation.

Develop strong personal connections with potential customers to influence decision-making and secure new business opportunities.

Design and deliver customized presentations that address specific client challenges and objectives.

Analyze sales and marketing data to refine strategies and improve outreach effectiveness.

Represent the company at industry trade shows, promoting products and services and building brand awareness.

Consistently meet or exceed sales quotas by actively engaging and persuading clients within the assigned territory to purchase products and services.

Drive business development efforts for distribution and channel management within defined customer segments, aligning with overall business strategy.

Lead bid proposals, contribute to bid documentation, and participate in negotiations with prospective customers.

Identify and promote new sales leads for the business development team.

Proactively support new project development efforts by presenting ideas and opportunities to the broader sales team.
Minimum Qualifications
-
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.

Minimum of 4–5 years of relevant experience in field sales, including at least 2 years in floor covering, building materials, or B2B sales—especially with distributors.
Preferred Qualifications

4–5+ years of experience in account management, distribution, and/or channel sales—or a comparable combination of education and hands-on experience.

Exceptional communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to articulate value propositions and ROI clearly to a variety of stakeholders.

Experience with virtual customer engagement using digital communication platforms.

Proven ability to collaborate across sales teams to deliver comprehensive, cross-sell solutions.

Familiarity with current sales technologies, market trends, and industry best practices.

Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).

Willingness and ability to travel up to 50% within the assigned territory, as well as for industry events, trade shows, and internal meetings.
