What You’ll Do:

Independently evaluate the training needs of administrative support staff and propose strategic priorities, methods, and solutions to senior leadership.

Design and implement quality assurance measures to identify skill gaps and track the effectiveness and progress of training initiatives.

Develop and manage training programs and curricula aimed at enhancing client service and job-specific competencies.

Establish cross-training initiatives that equip administrative staff to support multiple practice areas and varying levels of attorneys.

Collaborate with IT to deliver timely, relevant technology training that ensures administrative teams are proficient in tools essential for delivering exceptional client service.

Create, maintain, and update learning paths within the Learning Management System (LMS), along with other relevant training resources.

Manage and regularly update the internal secretarial group webpage to serve as a centralized hub for training materials and procedural guidelines.

Design and facilitate onboarding and orientation training for new secretarial staff.

Monitor new hire progress through tools such as check-ins and surveys to ensure smooth integration and alignment with service expectations and role objectives.

Develop and oversee mentoring programs that provide professional and personal guidance to both new and tenured business professionals.

Create programs that promote career development and advancement for administrative and business support professionals.

Implement training for supervisors and managers to strengthen their capabilities in feedback delivery, coaching, confidentiality, delegation, and other essential leadership skills.

Stay up to date with key technologies used by the administrative support teams, including Word, Outlook, 3E, Intapp Time, ServiceNow, and Accruent.
What You’ll Bring:

Bachelor’s degree preferred.
-
Proven experience in assessing training needs and developing tailored learning programs for administrative support teams.

At least eight years of experience in support staff management, preferably within a law firm environment.

Prior experience as a legal secretary is strongly preferred.

Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively engage diverse audiences.
